Asset Register

Here you will need include both physical and informational assets in your asset register.

Any asset that has the ability to store, process and transmit information should be included in the Physical Asset Register. Servers, PC’s and printers are some examples.

The types of information that are required are; Asset Serial Number, Asset Owner, Date Assigned, etc. These fields are in the Asset Register and will allow the company to keep track of the status of these assets if they are active or decommissioned
